We have an ever-growing database of African Queer creatives.
We offer support services for creatives to grow, collaborate and extend the expertise, opportunities enabling create earn from their craft and create a positive contribution.
We allocate them to programs that respond to creative and social needs.
We have in-house workshops that are focused and committed to fostering creativity through professional development of community members by engaging with lead or experienced creatives, program directors, artistic mentors to execute the programs.
A recent program supported community members to create memoirs and photography documentaries.
We offer accessible, barrier-breaking creative community workshops that serve minorities by providing meals, transportation, and curated queer-positive safe spaces. This allows community members to gather, share stories, mentor and support each other.
Some Workshop in-house programs so far include:
- ANNUAL Safe Queer film screenings : encouraging creativity and bringing queers safely together
- First Ugandan Annual Queer fashion show in 2018 to 2019 to fill the fashion space in Uganda with queer Fashion
